TV Thursday - True Blood

Thou shall not crave thy neighbor.
True Blood is an award-winning American tv drama series. Produced by Alan Ball (writer of American Beauty, Towelhead, as well as writer/director of Six Feet Under), it's based on the The Southern Vampire Mysteries novel series by Charlaine Harris.

True Blood is mainly about Sookie Stackhouse, played by Anna Paquin, a telepathic bar waitress. She falls in love with Bill Compton, a vampire played by Stephen Moyer. The series also stars Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley, Marshall Allman and Deborah Ann Woll.

Sexy, witty and unabashedly peculiar, True Blood is a blood-drenched Southern Gothic romantic parable set in a world where vampires are out and about and campaigning for equal rights. Part mystery, part fantasy, part comedy, and all wildly imaginative exaggeration, [True] Blood proves that there's still vibrant life — or death — left in the 'star-crossed cute lovers' paradigm. You just have to know where to stake your romantic claim. - USA Today on True Blood

True Blood has won numerous awards, such as Golden Globe Award 2009 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama by Anna Paquin, Emmy Awards 2009 for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series, and more.

True Blood premiered on 7 September 2008, and had 2 seasons ever since. Season 3 is currently in production.

I personally haven't watched the show, but I'd like to. I hope it's good! :)
