Saoirse Ronan started acting in Irish tv series, The Clinic and Proof. Then she was cast as 13-year-old Briony Tallis, nominating her for numerous prestigious awards.
She has also won several awards for her performance as Susie Salmon in The Lovely Bones (2009).
I recently watched Saoirse Ronan in The Way Back (2010) with Jim Sturgess, Colin Farrell and Mark Strong, and Hanna (2011) with Cate Blancett and Eric Bana.
Saoirse Ronan will be seen in Violet & Daisy (2012) with Alexis Bledel and James Gandolfini, and Byzantium (2012) with Jonny Lee Miller, Gemma Arterton and Sam Riley.
She is currently filming The Host as Melanie Stryder/Wanderer (Wanda) with Max Irons, Dianne Kruger, and William Hurt, and How I Live Now. Both movies is scheduled for release in 2013.
