TV Thursday - Life Unexpected Season 2

Life Unexpected Season 1 ended with Cate and Ryan's wedding. Wondering what's in store for us viewers in Season 2?

We will be seeing more of Cate (Shiri Appleby), Baze (Kristoffer Polaha), Lux (Britt Robertson) and Ryan (Kerr Smith). Of course, the show would be incomplete without Lux's bff, Natasha (Ksenia Solo), Lux's love interest, Bug Guthrie (Rafi Gavron) and Jones Mager (Austin Butler).

Several new characters have been added to the Life Unexpected Season 2 cast. Arielle Kebbel (The Vampire Diaries) has been cast to play Paige, Baze's new bartender, while Amy Price of 24 will be playing Kelly, a conservative author, who starts working with Cate and Ryan on their radio show.

Meanwhile, a new teacher at Lux's school will be played by Shaun Sipos of Melrose Place. It is said that Emma Caulfield (Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Anya Jenkins) has also signed on to play a role in Life Unexpected Season 2.

Life Unexpected Season 2 will also have an episode crossover with One Tree Hill Season 8. In the episode, Cate will meet Haley James of One Tree Hill in Portland, at a music festival organised by Cate's radio station and bond over their similar past.

Musician Sarah McLachlan will also make a cameo appearance and perform her single, Forgiveness. The episode will air on 12 October 2010.
