TV Thursday - The Vampire Diaries Season 2

The Vampire Diaries season 1 has left us all dying to know what's next. All the series regular will be back, so we'll be seeing more of Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Katerina Graham, Candice Accola, Michael Trevino, Steven R. McQueen, and Zach Roerig.

The recurring characters will be back too, such as Sara Canning as Aunt Jenna Sommers, David Anders as Uncle John Gilbert, Matthew Davis as Alaric Saltzman, Mia Kirshner as Isobel, and Marguerite MacIntyre as Sheriff Elizabeth Forbes.

In the Vampire Diaries season 2, we shall be seeing more of Katherine Pierce, played by Nina Dobrev. There will be a number of flashbacks to 1864 and there will also be a lot of character development.

Tyler Lockwood, played by Michael Trevino will find out more about him being cursed as a werewolf, and there will be a few additional new cast as well.

Maiara Walsh of Desperate Housewives will be playing Sarah, who's into Jeremy, and Courtney Ford of Dexter will be playing a Duke University student who helps Alaric, Damon and Elena with Isobel's research.

If you're a huge Vampire Diaries fan, you probably knew that season 2 premiers on 9 September 2010! That's tonight on The CW, 8/7c. I'm going to miss the gorgeous Annabelle, though. I think Malese Jow and Steven R. McQueen look really good together.
