Ivy is a band from NY, formed in 1994, composed of Adam Schlesinger, Dominique Durand (vocals), and Andy Chase. The band's genre is mainly indie pop.
Ivy has released 5 studio albums. The song I'm featuring this week is called Edge of the Ocean, taken from Ivy's third album, Long Distance (2001). The song was featured on several episodes on Veronica Mars series.
The song has also been featured on tv series Grey's Anatomy and Alias, as well as on movies such as Angel Eyes (2001), Shallow Hal (2001), Numb (2007), and Music and Lyrics (2007).
Ivy's other singles have been featured on many other tv series and movies, such as Felicity, Kingdom Hospital, Roswell, There's Something About Mary (1998), Me, Myself and Irene (2000), Insomnia (2002), and Shanghai Kiss (2007).
