Restless (2011) is an upcoming drama movie directed by Gus Van Sant and written by Jason Lew. Gus Van Sant is the director who has brought us Paris, je t'aime (2006) and Milk (2009). The film is produced by Bryce Dallas Howard and her father, Ron Howard, with Brian Grazer.

The movie is about a terminally ill teenage girl who falls for a boy who likes to attend funerals and their encounters with the ghost of a Japanese kamikaze pilot from WWII.
Restless (2011) stars Mia Wasikowska as Annabel Cotton, Henry Hopper as Enoch Brae, Schuyler Fisk as Elizabeth Cotton, Jane Adams as Mabel Tell, and Ryo Kase as Hiroshi.
