Sucker Punch is an American action-fantasy movie about a young girl in the 1950s that is about to be lobotomized as she attempts to escape an asylum with her inmate friends.
The movie is directed by Zack Snyder, the same guy who brought us 300 (2007) and Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010). Sucker Punch (2011) stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Vanessa Hudgens and Jamie Chung, alongside Carla Gugino, Jon Hamm, Scott Glenn, Oscar Isaax, and Ryan Robbins.
