Who is Jamie Bell?

Jamie Bell or Andrew James Matfin Bell is an English actor. He has recently been seen playing the role of a slave named Esca, alongside Channing Tatum in The Eagle (2011).

24-year old Jamie Bell debuted as an actor in the 2000 film, Billy Elliot. The role as Billy Elliot, the boy who took up ballet and embarrassed his father and older brother has won him many awards, such as BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, Young Artist Award for Best Young Actor in an International Film, and many more.

Since then, Jamie Bell has appeared in a number of movies, such as King Kong (2005), Flags of Our Fathers (2006), Jumper (2008), and Defiance (2008).

Jamie Bell will be seen in more films in 2011. He will be appearing in Jane Eyre (2011) alongside Mia Wasikowska, and he will playing Tintin in The Adventure of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn (2011), alongside Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

He has recently completed Retreat (2011), a UK film alongside Cillian Murphy and Thandie Newton. Jamie Bell has also completed Man on a Ledge (2012), with Sam Worthington and Elizabeth Banks.
