Who is Sam Worthington?

Samuel “Sam” Worthington is an Australian actor. He has won Best Actor in a Leading Role for Somersault (2004). He’s best known for his role as Marcuz Wright in Terminator Salvation (2009), alongside Moon Bloodgood.

33-year old Sam Worthington started acting in tv series called JAG, and has starred in numerous tv series in Australia and USA ever since. He was in Rogue (2007), opposite Michael Vartan, Radha Mitchell, Stephen Curry, Heather Mitchell and Mia Wasikowska.

Sam Worthington played a role opposite Zoe Saldana in the huge James Cameron movie, Avatar (2009), as Jake Sully. He has also appeared in a dramatic romance film, Last Night (2010) alongside Keira Knightley, Eva Mendes, Guillaume Canet, Stephanie Romanov and Chriselle Almeida.

Sam Worthington also plays a role in an upcoming drama/thriller movie called The Debt (2010), alongside Helen Mirren, Jessica Chastain, Ciaran Hinds and Tom Wilkinson.

Sam Worthington has been seen in is Clash of the Titans (2010). He played the role of Perseus, opposite Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Izabella Miko, Mads Mikkelsen, Jason Flemyng, and Alexa Davalos.

Sam Worthington will be seen next in Avatar 2, which is set to be released in 2015 (a long wait, I know!), and in Ten (2013) opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello, and Josh Holloway. He will also star in Thunder Run (2013) with Gerard Butler and Matthew McConaughey.
