TV Thursday - One Tree Hill Season 8

The 8th and possibly the last season of One Tree Hill will air on The CW on 14 September 2010 at 8/7c. 12 episodes has been ordered, making it the shortest season in the series.

All the One Tree Hill series regular will be returning, such as James Lafferty, Bethany Joy Galeotti, Sophia Bush, Robert Buckley, Shantel VanSanten, Austin Nichols and Jackson Brundage.

Recurring cast that will be returning in season 8 are Lee Norris, Antwon Tanner, Lisa Goldstein, Jana Kramer, Kate Voegele, Stephen Colletti, and Daphne Zuniga.

One Tree Hill season 8 will be about Brooke Davis getting prepared to marry Julian Baker, while Haley, Nathan and Jamie Scott is expecting a new addition to the Scott family. Nathan Scott prepares for his second season in the NBA, while Clay Evans suffers from a chest wound, from the attack in the finale of season 7.

One Tree Hill season 8 will have an episode crossover with Life Unexpected season 2. In the 5th episode, Haley and Mia travel to Portland, where Life Unexpected is set, to sing in a music festival hosted by Cate's radio station. Haley and Cate will meet and will be surprised to learn that they share similar experience as young mothers. Sarah McLachlan will cameo in the episode and perform her single, Forgiveness. The episode will air on 12 October 2010.

I've been following One Tree Hill for years, and grew up with it. One Tree Hill has inspired me in many ways, and although I'll be missing it when it ends, I think One Tree Hill has had a good, long run.
