I love musicals and I cannot wait for Burlesque!
Directed by Steve Antin, Burlesque (2010) stars Christina Aguilera, Cher, Cam Gigandet, Stanley Tucci, Kristen Bell, Eric Dane, Alan Cumming, and dancer Julianne Hough. The movie also stars Glee's Dianna Agron.
The movie resolves around the life of Alice "Ali" Marilyn Rose, who works at a neo-burlesque club as a cocktail waitress.
The super diva, Cher has recorded 2 songs for the movie soundtrack, namely the opening song, Welcome To Burlesque, and a ballad by Diane Warren, You Haven't Seen The Last of Me.
In the film, Christina Aguilera also performs the classic by Etta James called Something's Got a Hold on Me.
Burlesque (2010) is set for release in USA and Canada on 24 November 2010, and in Malaysia and Singapore on 13 January 2011. Can't wait! Enjoy the trailer!
