Who is Rooney Mara?

Rooney Mara, born Patricia Rooney Mara is an American actress. She is probably best known as the younger sister of actress Kate Mara, and she has acted in movies like Dare (2009), The Winning Season (2009), Youth in Revolt (2009), and A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010).

Rooney Mara has also acted in movies namely Friends (With Benefits) (2009) and Tanner Hall (2009), and in tv series such as Law & Order, Women's Murder Club, The Cleaner, and ER.

She will be seen next in The Social Network (2010) alongside Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Brenda Song, and Malese Jow.

Rooney Mara has been cast to play the role of Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), alongside Daniel Craig, Stellan Skarsgard, and Robin Wright.
