He started modelling when he was 12, but he reckons that he has the most unsuccessful modelling career, ever. He became very popular when he was signed up to play Edward Cullen in Twilight (2008), followed by the 2nd installment, New Moon (2009).
The 3rd installment in The Twilight Saga, Eclipse, is due to be released on 30 June 2010. I have just watched Remember Me (2010) last night, starring Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin. I thought it is a good movie, and I loved the surprise twist.
Robert Pattinson has recently wrapped up filming for Bel Ami (2011), opposite Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Christina Ricci, Holliday Grainger and Natalia Tena.
He is currently filming Water for Elephants (2011), opposite Reese Witherspoon, Christoph Waltz and Hal Holbrook. Water for Elephants is an adaptation of a historical novel of the same name by Sara Gruen.
