TV Thursday - The Wanted's Hollywood Reality Show Home #WantedWednesday

I'm currently very much into the British-Irish boyband, The Wanted.

They're now in the United States to start filming their reality show, which will be aired on E! this June.

Nathan Sykes, 19, Siva Kaneswaran, 24, Jay McGuiness, 24, Max George, 24, and Tom Parker, 22, will be residing on their temporary home for the reality show, which is a $50,000 a month Hollywood mansion.

It's massive, with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and to top it off, a heated swimming pool. Life's going on pretty good for the lads, I think. More photos of the mansion here.

Last Friday Night by One Buck Short (Live, Smash Project 2012)

One Buck Short was recently in Manila for the Smash Project 2012. I found out that they did a cover of Katy Perry's Last Friday Night (TGIF) there, and I was dying to listen to it. I took my chance on YouTube today, and I'm so happy that I found this video. Sure, it's not mine, but yay for the uploader for sharing it.

One Buck Short will be opening for Sum 41 Live in Malaysia on 14 April 2012. :)

Fashion Friday #25 - Adele Rocks in Black Dresses

I love Adele! Love her style and everything about her, except maybe, the fact that she smokes. Anyway, here's a post dedicated to Adele and her fabulous little black dresses.

Adele has sported these gorgeous black dresses at the MTV Video Music Awards, 2012 Grammy Awards, and the recent Brit Awards 2012. I love how she looks classy and elegant in black. Black is always in!

Sum 41 Live in Malaysia 2012

Sum 41 is coming to Malaysia for a concert. How exciting is that? The punk rock band from Ontario, Canada is comprised of Deryck Whibley, Tom Thacker, Jason McCaslin, and Steve Jocz.

The band is coming to Malaysia to promote their latest album, Screaming Bloody Murder (2011). It's their 5th album and it's also the second album produced by the band's frontman Deryck Whibley.

Set Fire To The Rain - Adele (Live at The Royal Albert Hall 2011)

I don't know anyone who's sick of Adele. I mean, she's brilliant. To call her a legend in the making would be an understatement.

Adele has won 2 awards at the Brit Awards 2012, and a whopping 6 awards at the recent Grammy Awards as well. I read that she's taking a long break after this, and although she'll definitely be missed, I'd say good for her.

Here's one of my favourite Adele song, Set Fire To The Rain. She performed it live at The Royal Albert Hall in London on 22 September 2011. The concert was recorded and the DVD was released on 28 November 2011 in the UK.

Love, love her, her performance, her voice, and this song. Love her dress too! Bravo Adele!

Evanescence Live in Malaysia 2012

So one of my favourite bands, Evanescence is coming to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a concert, and I won't be there to watch them. Sucks to be me, huh?

Evanescence is promoting their latest album, also called Evanescence, which was released on 7 October 2011. The first single is called What You Want, and the second single is called My Heart is Broken. The third single from the album will be Made of Stone.

Whirl by Narmi (The Wknd Sessions)

I've never heard of Narmi until I watched What Men Want two weeks ago. What Men Want is a reality show on our local tv channel, NTV7. It's pretty entertaining, actually.

Anyway, Narmi is probably best known as Imran, the drummer from the band One Buck Short. 28-year old Narmi is planning a release for his EP entitled Whirl sometime this month, while his band One Buck Short is said to be going to The Phillipines in March.

Narmi was also the opening act for Zee Avi's Homecoming Concert in Kuching, Sarawak last year.

This song is called Whirl. I may be biased but I love Narmi's soothing voice and relaxed performance. The video is taken from The Wknd Sessions #31. Ooh the haters! Man, if you've got hate comments, that means you're good. Good luck, Narmi!

26-year old Orianthi Panagaris is a Greek Australian musician. She's best known for being picked as the lead guitarist for Michael Jackson's This Is It concerts.

Orianthi has recently released a 5-song EP called Fire, which was released as an iTunes download.

This song is called According to You, taken from Orianthi's 2009 debut album, Believe. This song has also been used in several music games, and in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and in Dancing with the Stars season 11.

I can totally relate to this song, especially after my recent break-up. This is dedicated to him. The one who said that I have a bad attitude, and that I always act like a smartass. Thank you for that, for giving me so many reasons to leave you, even after all the years we've spent together.

When I'm With You by Faber Drive (Hellcats S01E16)

Faber Drive is a Canadian pop punk band from Mission, British Columbia. The band was discovered by Nickelback's frontman, Chad Kroeger, and consists of 4 members; Dave Faber on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Jeremy Liddle on bass, Jordan Pritchett on lead guitar, and Andrew Stricko on drums.

 I kind of miss Hellcats; I thought it was a good show, which deserves more than just one season. It just needed a good storyline, and perhaps a better director. This song is called When I'm With You, taken from Faber drive's debut album, Seven Second Surgery (2007).

 The band has since released a second album in 2009, called Can't Keep A Secret. They had 2 more songs featured in Hellcats S01E16: Fancy Dan, which are Honky Tonk Women, Second Chance, and You and I Tonight.

 I fell in love with this song the first time I listened to it. I'm a sucker for love songs and bands with cute guys. Oh well, happy listening and happy Monday!

 

Who is Candyman 187?

Worry About You - 2AM Club (Pretty Little Liars S01E06)

2AM Club is an American band, which includes lead singer Marc Griffin, emcee Tyler Cordy, guitarist Matt Reagan, keyboard player Dave Dalton, drummer Ian O'Neill, and bassist Matt Warshauer.

The band is named after a bar in Mill Valley, California, the 2AM Club, which is also the band's favourite bar. The band is known for playing various genres such as electro, alternative, rap, pop, and funk.

This song is called Worry About You, taken from 2AM Club's debut album called What Did You Think Was Going to Happen? (2010). It's also the band's debut single.

2AM Club also appeared in Pretty Little Liars season 1 episode 6, There's No Place Like Homecoming. They performed Worry About You, Same Night Sky, Only For Me, Make You Mine, and Let Me Down Easy.

Jar of Hearts - Christina Perri (Official Music Video)

Christina Perri is an American singer and songwriter from Philadelphia. Born on 19 August 1986, the talented musician will be releasing her debut album called Lovestrong on 10 May 2011.

I absolutely love her song Jar of Hearts when I first listened to it on the radio. It is a sad song, but I love it. Love the lyrics, melody, and her voice!

The song was featured on the tv show So You Think You Can Dance in 2010, before Christina Perri even had a record deal. Her best friend, Keltie Colleen was the one who passed the song to the show's choreographer.

I absolutely adore Pixie Lott. She's gorgeous and she sings beautifully!

With Me - Sum 41 (Live on Jimmy Kimmel, 21 January 2008)

Sum 41 is a Canadian alternative rock band from Ajax, Ontario. The current band members include Deryck Whibley (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Jason McCaslin (bass guitar, backing vocals), Steve Jocz (drums) and Tom Thacker (lead guitar, backing vocals).

The song is called With Me, taken from the band's fourth studio album, Underclass Heroes (2006). This song was featured on the ad for the 2009 Fox series called More to Love, and it was also featured on Gossip Girl season 1 episode 7. With Me is written and produced by Deryck Whibley himself.

This is an old song by Sum 41, but you know what, it sounds as good as new. I used to love Sum 41 back when I was in college, and they're still relevant to me. I enjoy other types of music as well, but one can only listen to much computerized music, if you know what I mean.

Sum 41 will be releasing the second single called Back Where I Belong for their fifth album, Screaming Bloody Murder on 26 April 2011.

Impossible - Anberlin

Anberlin is an American alternative rock band from Winter Haven, Florida. The band was formed in 2002, and the latest members of Anberlin include lead vocalist Stephen Christian, bassist Deon Rexroat, lead guitarist Joseph Milligan, drummer Nathan Young and rhythm guitarist Christian McAlhaney.

This is the first single released from Anberlin's fifth album, Dark is the Way, Light is a Place (2010). The song is called Impossible.

Anberlin's songs have also appeared on The Vampire Diaries, such as a Depeche Mode cover, Enjoy the Silence (2006), featured on The Vampire Diaries Season 1 Episode 6, and a New Order cover, True Faith (2009), featured on The Vampire Diaries Season 1 finale.

The Strange Boys is an American garage band from Texas. The band includes Ryan Sambol (guitar, lead vocals, harmonica), Philip Sambol (bass), Greg Enlow (guitar), Mike La Franchi (drums), Jenna E. Thornhill DeWitt (saxophone, backing vocals), and Tim Presley (backing vocals).

The Strange Boys has released two studio albums so far, and this song called Be Brave is taken from their second album, Be Brave (2010).

The song was featured on episode 1 series 5 of Skins. It was during the scene when Franky gets ready for her first day. The role of Franky Fitzgerald is played by Dakota Blue Richards.
