TV Thursday - The Wanted's Hollywood Reality Show Home #WantedWednesday

I'm currently very much into the British-Irish boyband, The Wanted.

They're now in the United States to start filming their reality show, which will be aired on E! this June.

Nathan Sykes, 19, Siva Kaneswaran, 24, Jay McGuiness, 24, Max George, 24, and Tom Parker, 22, will be residing on their temporary home for the reality show, which is a $50,000 a month Hollywood mansion.

It's massive, with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, and to top it off, a heated swimming pool. Life's going on pretty good for the lads, I think. More photos of the mansion here.

Who is Matt Bomer?

Matthew Staton "Matt" Bomer is a Texas-born actor, best known for playing the role of Neal Caffrey in the popular USA Network tv series, White Collar.

The gorgeous Libran, born 11 October 1077 has starred in Tru Calling (2003-04), and Chuck (2007-09), and he also starred in a few movies such as Flightplan (2005), and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006). He also starred in In Time (2011), alongside Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfriend, Cillian Murphy, Olivia Wilde and Alex Pettyfer.

He is currently completing a new movie called Magic Mike (2012), which is due to be released on 29 June 2012 in the US. The movie stars Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyffer, Matthew McConaughey and Olivia Munn.

Matt Bomer is currently filming The Normal Heart (2014), alongside Mark Ruffalo, Jim Parsons, Alec Baldwin and Julia Roberts.

You can currently watch Season 4 of White Collar, and the season's finale falls on 28 February 2012.

When I'm With You by Faber Drive (Hellcats S01E16)

Faber Drive is a Canadian pop punk band from Mission, British Columbia. The band was discovered by Nickelback's frontman, Chad Kroeger, and consists of 4 members; Dave Faber on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Jeremy Liddle on bass, Jordan Pritchett on lead guitar, and Andrew Stricko on drums.

 I kind of miss Hellcats; I thought it was a good show, which deserves more than just one season. It just needed a good storyline, and perhaps a better director. This song is called When I'm With You, taken from Faber drive's debut album, Seven Second Surgery (2007).

 The band has since released a second album in 2009, called Can't Keep A Secret. They had 2 more songs featured in Hellcats S01E16: Fancy Dan, which are Honky Tonk Women, Second Chance, and You and I Tonight.

 I fell in love with this song the first time I listened to it. I'm a sucker for love songs and bands with cute guys. Oh well, happy listening and happy Monday!

 

Who is Kellan Lutz?

Kellan Christopher Lutz is an American actor. He is best known for playing the role of Emmett Cullen in the Twilight series.

Kellan Lutz has appeared on several tv shows such as The Bold and the Beautiful, CSI:NY, Summerland, and Heroes. He has also played small roles in movies such as Accepted (2006), Prom Night (2008), A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010), and the Twilight movies.

He will be seen next on Love, Wedding, Marriage (2011), The Killing Game (2011) with Nina Dobrev, A Warrior's Heart (2011) with Ashley Greene, and as Poseidon in Immortals (2011) with Henry Cavill and Freida Pinto.

Kellan Lutz will be appearing in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and Part 2. He is currently filming Guardians of Luna, an animated movie due to be released in 2012.

Who is Rachel Nichols?

Rachel Nichols is an American model and actress. She is probably best known for her role as Lisa in The Amityville Horror (2005).

Rachel Nichols started as a model and has worked on advertising campaigns for Guess? and Abercrombie & Fitch. She has appeared in several tv series such as Sex and the City, The Inside, Them, and U.S. Attorney.

She has also appeared in a number of movies such as Star Trek (2009), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), and For Sale by Owner (2009).

Rachel Nichols is currently playing the role of Ashley Seaver in Criminal Minds season 6, episode 10 onwards. She will be seen next in a movie, Conan the Barbarian (2011) as Conan's love interest, Tamara.

Camelot is a historical-fantasy-drama television series, premiered on 1 April 2011. It's currently showing on Starz and GK-TV.

Who is Max Irons?

Max Irons is an English film actor. His full name is Maximilian Paul Diarmuid Irons, born on 17 October 1985. He is the son of actors Sinead Cusack and Jeremy Irons.

He debuted in Being Julie in 2004, in which his father played the lead role.

Max Irons played the role of Lucius in Dorian Gray (2004) with Ben Barnes, and he recently appeared in Red Riding Hood (2011) as Henry, along with Shiloh Fernandez and Amanda Seyfried.

He was also in The Runaway, a UK tv series which aired earlier this year.

Who is Shiloh Fernandez?

Shiloh Thomas Fernandez is an American actor and model. He's probably best known for his role as Benjamin Lambert in United States of Tara, and as Scott Becker in Three Rivers.

Shiloh Fernandez has recently been seen in Red Riding Hood (2011) opposite Amanda Seyfried and Max Irons. He also had a main role in Skateland (2010) opposite Ashley Greene, and as a supporting role in Happiness Runs (2010).

He also appeared on Gossip Girl Season 2 Episode 24, Valley Girls, as Owen Campos. Shiloh Fernandez was also in the tv series Jericho, as Sean Henthorn.

Who is Beau Garrett?

Beau Garrett is an American actress and model. The Capricorn celeb was born in Los Angeles, California, and is currently a spokesmodel for Revlon cosmetics.

Beau Garrett has appeared on a music video for the song Cold by a band called Crossfade. She has also appeared on several movies, such as Turistas (2006), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007), Made of Honor (2008), and Tron: Legacy (2010).

She has appeared on tv shows too, such as Entourage. Beau Garrett is currently playing the role of Gina LaSalle on Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior.

Who is Tyler Blackwood?

Tyler Blackwood is an American actor. He is currently playing the role of Caleb Rivers on the popular ABC Family teen series, Pretty Little Liars. Caleb Rivers is Hanna's (played by Ashley Benson) love interest.

Pretty Little Liars also stars Lucy Hale, Ian Harding, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell and Sasha Pieterse.

Tyler Blackwood started acting in 2005. He appeared on Unfabulous, and Cold Case. He also appeared in 17 episodes on Days of our Lives in 2010.

He has also played the main role, Jesse, in an independent drama movie called Peach Plum Pear (2010), along with Alex Beh, Alanna Masterson, Hal Ozsan, Mackenzie Phillips, and Joris Jarsky.

Be Brave - The Strange Boys (Skins Series 5 Episode 1 OST)

The Strange Boys is an American garage band from Texas. The band includes Ryan Sambol (guitar, lead vocals, harmonica), Philip Sambol (bass), Greg Enlow (guitar), Mike La Franchi (drums), Jenna E. Thornhill DeWitt (saxophone, backing vocals), and Tim Presley (backing vocals).

The Strange Boys has released two studio albums so far, and this song called Be Brave is taken from their second album, Be Brave (2010).

The song was featured on episode 1 series 5 of Skins. It was during the scene when Franky gets ready for her first day. The role of Franky Fitzgerald is played by Dakota Blue Richards.

Nikita is an American action drama series, based on a previous series La Femme Nikita (1997). The show premiered on 9 September 2010.

The story centers on a secret organization known as Division. Recruiting young people with a troubled background, Division erases all evidence of their past lives and molds them into efficient spies and assassins. Nikita is the first recruit to escape and promises to bring down her former employers. Having trained Nikita, Michael, a Division operative, is ordered by his boss Percy to deal with his former student. Who is Chris Egan?

Chris Egan or Christopher Andrew Egan is an Australian actor. He is probably best known for his role as Nick Smith in the popular Australian soap opera, Home and Away.

Chris Egan has appeared on tv movies and series, such as Everwood (2006), Vanished (2006), and Pretty/Handsome (2008). He has also played the role of David Shepherd on the NBC tv drama Kings, based on the biblical story of King David and King Saul.

He has appeared in several movies such as Eragon (2006), Virgin Territory (2007), Resident Evil: Extinction (2007), Crush (2009), and Letters to Juliet (2010).

Chris Egan will be playing the lead role in ABC's tv movie, Poe.

TV Thursday - Friday Night Lights

Friday Night Lights is an American tv series adapted from a book and movie of the same name. Combining drama and sports, Friday Night Lights currently stars Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton, Aimee Teegarden, Michael B. Jordan, Matt Lauria, Jurnee Smollett, Madison Burge, and Grey Damon.

The show is currently on its fifth and final season, ended on 9 February 2011. The show's fifth season will premier on NBC on 15 April 2011.

It's not too late to start watching the series from season 1, I think. Nevertheless, enjoy the season 5 promo trailer for Friday Night Lights!

Who is Aimee Teegarden?

Aimee Teegarden is an American actress. She's probably best known for her role as Julie Taylor in Friday Night Lights.

She has appeared in several movies, such as For Sale by Owner (2009), The Perfect Age of Rock 'n' Roll (2009), and Beautiful Wave (2010). She has also appeared in many tv series, such as Cold Case, Hannah Montana, 90210, CSI: Miami, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Aimee Teegarden has appeared with Kellan Lutz in a music video for Hinder's song called Without You.

She will be seen next in Scream 4 (2011), Prom (2011) and Beneath the Darkness (2011). Aimee Teegarden will also star in a new web series called Aim High, alongside Jackson Rathbon, Johnny Pemberton, and Lil J.

TV Thursday - Downton Abbey

Downton Abbey is a 2010 British television period drama series. The series follows the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants. Written by Oscar-winning writer, Julian Fellowes, the series is set in pre-WWI in England, in the early reign of King George V. Highclere Castle in Hampshire was used as Downton Abbey.

The first series was estimated to cost £1 million an hour to film, making Downton Abbey the most expensive British tv show ever produced. It is also the most successful British period drama since Brideshead Revisited, with British ratings exceeding 10 million viewers. [Source]

Downton Abbey stars Dame Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Penelope Wilton, Dan Stevens, Michelle Dockery, Laura Carmichael, and Jessica Brown-Findlay as the characters in the Crawley family. The servants of the Crawley family are played by Jim Carter, Phyllis Logan, Lesley Nicol, Brendan Coyle, Siobhan Finneran, Rob James-Collier, Thomas Howed, Rose Leslie, Sophie McShera, Allen Leech, Andrew Westfield, Kevin Doyle, and Christine Lohr.

Downton Abbey will return later this year for its 2nd season. I've seen the trailer, and it does look really good!

TV Thursday - Being Human (UK, BBC Three)

Being Human is a British drama series, involving supernatural creatures. The series follow the life of three creatures, Mitchell the vampire, George the werewolf, and Annie the ghost, trying to live together as normal humans.

The series stars Aidan Turner as Mitchell, Lenora Crichlow as Annie, and Russell Tovey as George. The series is created by Toby Whithouse.

Being Human has received extremely favourable reviews, with Matt Roush from TV Guide calling it "frighteningly good" while Ken Tucker from Entertainment Weekly described it being "like Twilight, but with better writing."

Being Human premiered on BBC Three on 10 January 2010. It is currently on its third season, which started on 23 January 2011. An American/Canadian version of the series premiered on 17 January 2011 on Syfy in the US and on Space in Canada.

Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill or in short, Henry Cavill is a British actor, probably best known for his role as Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk in The Tudors (2007-2010), along with Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

Henry Cavill has appeared as the main role in a number of films, such as The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), Red Riding Hood (2004), Hellraiser: Hellworld (2005), Tristan + Isolde (2006), Stardust (2007), and Whatever Works (2009).

He has completed filming two films for 2011; Immortals, where he plays Theseus, alongside Mickey Rourke, John Hurt, Kellan Lutz, Stephen Dorff, Freida Pinto, Luke Evans, and Isabel Lucas, and also The Cold Light of Day, alongside Bruce Willis, Sigourney Weaver, Caroline Goodall, Rafi Gavron, and Emma Hamilton.

On 30 January 2011, Henry Cavill has been cast to play Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman in the 2012 movie, Superman: Man of Steel. I think he has the looks, charm and body to play the role of Superman, and boy, is he fit! Can't wait for the movie!

TV Thursday - No Ordinary Family

No Ordinary Family is an American tv series on ABC. It is a one-hour sci-fi show, with some drama and comedy. The show premiered on 28 September 2010.

The show is about the Powells family, and each family member gained special powers after getting involved in a plane crash in Brazil.

No Ordinary Family stars Michael Chiklis as Jim Powell, Julie Benz as Stephanie Powell, Kay Panabaker as Daphne Powell, and Jimmy Bennett as Jim Junior "JJ" Powell.

The show also stars Autumn Reeser (The O.C.), Romany Malco and Stephen Collins.

No Ordinary Family is currently showing in Malaysia on TV3, every Monday, 9.00pm. I've seen the second episode on 13 December 2010, and I love the show! It's definitely entertaining and there are lots of funny moments too.
