Darren Everett Criss is an American actor and singer-songwriter. He was recently cast to play Blaine on the musical tv series, Glee. On Glee season 2, Darren Criss will play Blaine, a gay student from a rival school, who left his old school because he was bullied. He eventually becomes Kurt Hummel's mentor, so apparently Kurt has a lot of respect for him and admires him for his strength.
Darren Criss is part of a theatre production team called Team StarKid, formed by theatre student at his college, University of Michigan. He is best known for his role as Harry Potter in the popular viral hit, A Very Potter Musical, and A Very Potter Sequel. He also wrote half of the songs in A Very Potter Musical, and all of the songs in the sequel.
He has recently released a self-produced EP called Human on iTunes last summer. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Darren Criss on Glee season 2. Can't wait!
