Set Fire To The Rain - Adele (Live at The Royal Albert Hall 2011)

I don't know anyone who's sick of Adele. I mean, she's brilliant. To call her a legend in the making would be an understatement.

Adele has won 2 awards at the Brit Awards 2012, and a whopping 6 awards at the recent Grammy Awards as well. I read that she's taking a long break after this, and although she'll definitely be missed, I'd say good for her.

Here's one of my favourite Adele song, Set Fire To The Rain. She performed it live at The Royal Albert Hall in London on 22 September 2011. The concert was recorded and the DVD was released on 28 November 2011 in the UK.

Love, love her, her performance, her voice, and this song. Love her dress too! Bravo Adele!

Whirl by Narmi (The Wknd Sessions)

I've never heard of Narmi until I watched What Men Want two weeks ago. What Men Want is a reality show on our local tv channel, NTV7. It's pretty entertaining, actually.

Anyway, Narmi is probably best known as Imran, the drummer from the band One Buck Short. 28-year old Narmi is planning a release for his EP entitled Whirl sometime this month, while his band One Buck Short is said to be going to The Phillipines in March.

Narmi was also the opening act for Zee Avi's Homecoming Concert in Kuching, Sarawak last year.

This song is called Whirl. I may be biased but I love Narmi's soothing voice and relaxed performance. The video is taken from The Wknd Sessions #31. Ooh the haters! Man, if you've got hate comments, that means you're good. Good luck, Narmi!

Enjoy the song!

Whirl Lyrics – Narmi

I’ve been staring at my screen
Thinking of you and all our dreams
My cheeks hurt from smiling
Could it be because your eyes – mesmerize me

And I don’t mind at all
Because I’m enjoying this free fall

Oh how you make me whirl, twist and turn and twirl
And when you bite ur lip girl, twist and turn and twirl
And when you smile, it carries on for miles
Oh girl, you drive me wild

In real-time we sing
In real-time we’re laughing
And you don’t miss a beat
Cuz you’ve got front row seats

I love the way you smell
Inhale, deep breath, i’m in your spell
I love the way you kiss
So soft and warm, deep in this bliss

According to You by Orianthi

26-year old Orianthi Panagaris is a Greek Australian musician. She's best known for being picked as the lead guitarist for Michael Jackson's This Is It concerts.

Orianthi has recently released a 5-song EP called Fire, which was released as an iTunes download.

This song is called According to You, taken from Orianthi's 2009 debut album, Believe. This song has also been used in several music games, and in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and in Dancing with the Stars season 11.

I can totally relate to this song, especially after my recent break-up. This is dedicated to him. The one who said that I have a bad attitude, and that I always act like a smartass. Thank you for that, for giving me so many reasons to leave you, even after all the years we've spent together.

These verses are perfect for our sad, pathetic love story:

According to you
I’m difficult,
hard to please,
forever changing my mind.

According to you
I’m boring,
I’m moody,
you can’t take me any place.

According to me
you’re stupid,
you’re useless,
you can’t do anything right.

I kind of miss Hellcats; I thought it was a good show, which deserves more than just one season. It just needed a good storyline, and perhaps a better director. This song is called When I'm With You, taken from Faber drive's debut album, Seven Second Surgery (2007).

The band has since released a second album in 2009, called Can't Keep A Secret. They had 2 more songs featured in Hellcats S01E16: Fancy Dan, which are Honky Tonk Women, Second Chance, and You and I Tonight.

I fell in love with this song the first time I listened to it. I'm a sucker for love songs and bands with cute guys. Oh well, happy listening and happy Monday!

This is an old song by Sum 41, but you know what, it sounds as good as new. I used to love Sum 41 back when I was in college, and they're still relevant to me. I enjoy other types of music as well, but one can only listen to much computerized music, if you know what I mean.

Tolong Ingatkan Aku by Ana Raffali (Lyrics & Music Video)

Congrats to Ana Raffali for winning Anugerah Juara Lagu 25 last night! I totally didn't expect her to win. I thought the song was okay, and her performance was alright despite being sick prior to the event.

However, I didn't enjoy the theatrical side of her performance; I thought it was messy and I didn't get the usage of two cages as props.

Anyway, after listening to her song and understanding its beautiful lyrics, I think that she deserves that huge win. I don't care if others don't think so. This young musician will certainly be around for quite a while.

You can follow Ana Raffali on Twitter, MySpace, her blog, and website. Enjoy the music video!

Tolong Ingatkan Aku (Ana Raffali)

Jangan disusun kata-kata penamat
Jangan disebut baris ayat keramat
Biar lenyap diserap sunyi
Biar senyap yang tak menyepi

Tolong ingatkan aku
Kisah kau tersedar
Dengan saku penyeluk masa

Mari patahkan papan markah lama
Mari padamkan buku tiga lima
Biar luka sembuh sendiri
Biar lupa dimakan hari

Tolong ingatkan aku
Kisah kau tersedar
Dengan saku penyeluk masa
Kau dampingi aku
Setiap detik jantungku berdetak
Setiap nota jiwaku berlagu-lagu

Bila marah merasuk minda
Kecewa menyelubungi jiwa
Aku lupa

Tolong ingatkan aku
Kisah ku tersedar
Dengan kasih memeluk rasa
Ku teringatkanmu
Setiap detik jantungku berdetak
Setiap nota jiwaku berlagu-lagu

Tolong ingatkan aku kisah kita
Tolong ingatkan aku
Kisah ku tersedar
Dengan kasih memeluk rasa

Tolong ingatkan aku
Kisah kita
