Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a 25-year old American actress. Born in North Carolina on 28 November 1984, the Sagitarrian star has been called a scream queen for her roles in horror movies such as Monster Island (2004), The Ring Two (2005), Final Destination 3 (2006), Black Christmas (2006), and Grindhouse: Death Proof (2007).

She has also starred in other movies such as Sky High (2005), Bobby, Live Free or Die Hard aka Die Hard 4.0 (2007), and Make It Happen (2008).

Mary Elizabeth Winstead will be seen soon on Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010), opposite Michael Cera. The film will open in the US on 13 August 2010.

She will be seen next on a science horror movie named The Thing (2011), opposite Joel Edgerton and Eric Christian Olsen. The movie will be a prequel of the 1982 movie of the same name, by John Carpenter.
