Fashion Friday #25 - Adele Rocks in Black Dresses

I love Adele! Love her style and everything about her, except maybe, the fact that she smokes. Anyway, here's a post dedicated to Adele and her fabulous little black dresses.

Adele has sported these gorgeous black dresses at the MTV Video Music Awards, 2012 Grammy Awards, and the recent Brit Awards 2012. I love how she looks classy and elegant in black. Black is always in!

I love the lace details on her dress, and how she looks good in long, flowing dresses and also in shorter, cocktail dresses. I think she looks fantastic. She makes me want to buy and wear a black dress too.

Rock the Sidewalk with Women's Express Jeans

I love jeans. I have been a loyal fan of jeans since I was a teenager. Until now, I almost don't wear anything else but cute tops and jeans, until I found out that I look good in some dresses too.

Jeans are also big in the movies and every tv series I love. In Pretty Little Liars, we see Aria, Hanna, Spencer, Emily and even the boys rock it in denim. Just gorgeous!

I am bottom heavy, so skinny jeans would look unflattering on me. Flare jeans are great too, but I don't really fancy them.

Katy Perry Creates Nail Polish with O.P.I.

If you don't care about Justin Bieber's nail polish, here's another celeb's nail polish line that you might care about.

I might be a little late but Katy Perry has recently worked with renowned brand O.P.I. to create a collection of nail polish.

There are 5 colors in the Katy Perry collection, including “Teenage Dream” (Glittery Pink), “Not Like the Movies” (Silver), “Last Friday Night” (Glittery Blue), and “The One That Got Away (Berry)”, with Black Shatter that creates a cracked effect when added as a top coat.

The Katy Perry Collection by O.P.I. will go on sale at $9 per bottle at ULTA stores in the US and online in January 2011.

Fashion Friday #24 - Celebrity Pixie Haircuts

I've always been envious of women who can pull off pixie haircuts, or rather those who are brave enough to have their hair cut that short.

I've compiled pics of my favourite celebrities sporting the cute, super short pixie cut. Contrary to popular belief, pixie cuts are not only for women with a certain face shape. Women with all types of face shapes, be it oval, heart, round, square or angular can definitely pull this look.

However, the length of the cut and how you style it determines how it will look on you. A pixie cut will surely makes your eyes pop, especially on a sleek-back pixie cut. You can use hair products such as styling cream, gel or pomade to keep your pixie cut in place.

 

What I like most about pixie haircuts? It's totally manageable and easy to style!

Fashion Friday #21 - Dress Like Katy Perry for Halloween

Selena Gomez has confessed that she'll be dressing up just like Katy Perry in California Girls, blue wig and all! I think Selena will definitely look great, but perhaps not with the whipped cream bikini top.

 

From Katy Perry's early look, which was all vintage, sexy pin-up girl, to still sexy but more futuristic and daring tight mini dresses and short skirts, you bet they all look great to sport this Halloween.

Go for themes like Vegas casino just like Katy Perry did. These would look great especially if you're going to a themed Halloween party. It's also excellent for casino themed bachelorette parties.

If looking overly sexy is not your thing, you can still dress like Katy Perry. Invest on loads of bright, bold accessories. Think fun, kawaii and quirky but not childish.

Fashion Friday #19 - Wear Boots Like A Celebrity

I love boots and how they look on celebrities. Can't wear them here in my summer-all-year-round country, though. If you love wearing boots or want to learn to wear a pair, take some ideas from your favourite celebs.

Boots are hot this fall, of course, with the season getting colder and boots help warm you up. There are many styles to choose from, such as ankle boots, mid-calf boots, knee-high boots, over-the-knee boots and thigh-high boots.

There are ways to wear these different boots with style. Ankle boots are best worn with tights and short skirts that fall higher than your knee. Longer skirts will make you look frumpy.

Mid-calf boots look great with all lengths of skirts, and they can be worn with jeans too. Same goes for knee-high boots, although knee-high boots should be worn over your jeans if it's skinny or under your jeans if it's boot-cut.

Over-the-knee or thigh-high boots are trickier to wear. If you have the attitude to match, such high boots would look great.

So many styles to choose from, such as Cowboy boots, pointed, round toe, sheepskin or Ugg style, and biker boots to name a few.

Just match them to the occasion with the right outfit and attitude, and you're good to go.

Fashion Friday #18 - Kim Kardashian's Look at Emmy Awards 2010 Red Carpet

I've always avoided wearing white for some reasons, but Kim Kardashian wore white and looks super hot!

At the recent 2010 Emmy Awards Red Carpet, Kim Kardashian looks stunning in a white Marchesa dress, which made her look gorgeous. The Grecian princess for the night also wore a beautiful wrist cuff by Lorraine Schwartz.

It's amazing how it says that Kim Kardashian gained some weight, but in that beautiful Marchesa dress, she still looks amazing. The dress accentuates her features perfectly and fake tan or not, her skin definitely glows.

Dresses with neckline details such as the Marchesa dress does not require much accessorising. Keep your hair, makeup and jewelleries plain and simple, so that they don't bring attention away from the gorgeous gown.

Fashion Friday #13 - Kristen Stewart in Little Black Dresses

Kristen Stewart has recently been seen in a little black dress at the premier of Love Ranch in Los Angeles. She has been sporting quite a number of LBDs when promoting her movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse all around Europe, but to say that those dresses are uninspired would be a little too harsh.

I thought she looks great almost every time, and bear in mind that celebs are styled by their own stylists. Sometimes these stylists seem to make wrong choices in the clothes that these celebs wear. Come on, they're humans too and they make mistakes.

LBDs or little black dresses are great. Every girl must have at least one as a fashion staple. Match it with a gorgeous pair of heels to a cocktail party, or wear it with a little jacket, legging and boots for a more rugged look. However, it also depends on the overall look of the dress, and your own personal style.

Anyway, I still think Kristen Stewart looks great. She might get dissed from time to time, but she's still raking in the money. Good luck, Kristen! :)

Casadei is an Italian designer footwear brand that's currently sweeping Hollywood with its pretty shoes. Celebs like Kate Hudson, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Demi Moore and Rachel McAdams have been spotted wearing them, and Kate Hudson alone has been seen wearing the same pair of Casadei shoes in various events.

Celeb Style - Long Hair with Bangs

Long hair with bangs are seen everywhere in Hollywood lately. Celebrities such as Katy Perry, Halle Berry, Kim Kardashian and Zooey Deschanel are (or were) sporting such pretty ‘dos! I personally wouldn’t try it because I'm just not adventurous enough, although my mom has cut my hair short with bangs when I was really young. Lol!

I love Zooey's hair! I think it looks so good on her. I am no expert on hairstyles but I know when something looks good on someone.
